I watched some Star Wars while Emma napped yesterday since I am fighting off a cold with tons of sinus pressure. And I couldn't help but watch this too...



PS...I showed Emma a little Star Wars. She was totally into all the "airplanes" and the "lion"

Fuzz

Remember when Will had the circulation cut off because of hair and fuzz wrapped around his toe? Well, it must have made a powerful impression on Emma because she is obsessed with looking for fuzz in her toes. And Will's toes.

The other day she was very diligent about hunting down offensive fuzz.

Note that her socks are off as well.

(This was not a one-time fuzz-picking of Will's feet. Just the only time I have taken photos!)

Hardcore

Monday night was the first Ravens game of the season, broadcast on Baltimore TV, which we do not usually get in Delaware. Our friends brought over their digital antennae to see if we could get the signal up in our loft. It worked well, as long as someone held the antennae....

Then Martin walked over in a corner with a metal coat hanger and jokingly said, "what if this helps?"...perfect picture! No joke!

We ended up fixing this contraption:

Digital antennae sitting on top of a metal trash can on top of the ironing board....with a few metal coat hangers thrown in for good measure!

It worked, the Ravens squeaked one out, and if the rest of the season is like that game, they are going to send me into labor! Keep it up Ravens!

Star Wars Subway car ride

This is amazing!

This is a bit much...

Now I'm a big fan of Pride and Prejudice (the book first and foremost, but also the long-enough-to-be-mostly-true-to-the-book mini-series/movie), and I've even asked Martin what he thought about the middle name of Darcy for our yet to be born son, but I would not wear a shirt with Darcy's proposal, no matter how eloquent it is...


But if that's your thing, I won't judge (actually I will, but I'll try to keep it a secret! lol).

Autumn

Fall is here and I love it. Crisp days, multi-colored trees, and that smell in the air. You know the one I mean? For all our family and friends in warmer climates, this is what I'm talking about!

Well it has been a busy few weeks for us, especially this past weekend. There's a lot of things to catch up on with the blog, so be prepared for a bunch of posts in a short time!

Summer Storms

We've had some crazy rainstorms the past week or so here in Delaware. They come up really fast and are intense!

The other day one such rainstorm swept through the neighborhood, and we decided to take full advantage. (check out the tree in our front yard!)
