Two weekends ago, Martin's dad came down from Vermont to visit. We had such amazing weather that we drove down to Rehobeth beach for a few hours. I'm pretty terrible about taking pictures when we go places, but this time the reason I don't have many pictures is because the camera battery died!
The sky was an amazing shade of blue!
Emma was pretty pooped by this point:

Field Trip to Summit Aviation
Last Friday we went with a bunch of friends from church on a field trip to a local airfield that is run by the State Police. Emma enjoyed it and was able to take part a lot more than we had anticipated. She really liked watching the helicopters fly by and would point at them.
We got to go inside 2 planes also. She got a little freaked out here.
She enjoyed looking around in the small plane more than the picture shows!

This is a smaller plane, which we went inside also
And then her favorite (probably all the kids favorite too) was sitting in the cockpit of a helicopter!
And trying to fly it too!

We are so glad that it has warmed up early this year after such a cold winter, and are looking forward to spending a ton of time outside this summer!

Emma and Kellen
Earlier this week, Emma and I spent the day with Kellen, our friend's new little boy. He is so sweet and adorable, and Emma enjoyed being with him for the most part. She had a little bit of a hard time when he got his bottle; she really wanted it, and then she really wanted to sit in my lap too.
She also wanted to give him kisses
