About 2 weeks ago, Emma took her first few purposeful steps on her own. Prior to that, her version of walking was more like "controlled falling". It only took her about a week for stops to turn into really walking.

Your Mom called from Florida to tell me to look on your blog. I hadn't had time that day. Had friends here tonight and I showed them too. They thought Emma was the cutest little girl ever---I said she certainly is. Can't wait to celebrate her birthday.
